The only thing on what he is sustaining his government and promises is on the new contracts (not a nationalisation) of the hydrocarbon companies. He is using that to give away subsidies, blank cheques, and in summary, an institutionalised bribery of people. In foreign policy, he is probably the most inept president we ever had. That reflects his low education and incapacity to govern.

I suggest you listen carefully to both interviews. He clearly responded to every single question with the utmost respect and total control of the subject at hand. He is no dummy.
