Hiya. John Fogerty wasnt 62 when this was made but check out his Long Road Home dvd you can see most of it on you tube. John will be 63 in May & hes even more gorgeous now. Im going to see him at the Appollo in Manchester in June & I cant wait.

Im a young at heart 52yr old & usually go for young guys like Shane from Irish boyband Westlife but theres something about John Fogerty that even straight guys go for0 Im watching his Long Road Home dvd yet again & Ive had a John Fogerty CCR tattoo done on my ankle today Im going to put a a pic of it on my John Fogerty My Space page. Exactly. John carried that band. He wrote, sang, and produced CCR. Doug and Stu make their money in a CCR cover band playing music that John wrote.

in all fairness though, he did have a very big ego about that band. from what i read it was "creative differences" that tore CCR apart. but yeah, i agree with you, and im still a huge Fogerty fan today.

this guitar is a Washburn -- I have this exact guitar -- its an awesome player -- im not sure of the exact model - but its a double cut away - les paul type axe -- its 2 pieces of wood - the neck goes right through the body ! around a 1980 guitar - my favorite guitar !

yes it is similar to an Ibenez artist -- but its a Washburn - I have this same guitar & I have an Ibinez artist - they have different bridged though - the Washburn is a string through the body for nice low action - while the artist is the standard les paul type bridge

I got a closer look at the headstock and think you're right.
I remember the late 1970's-early 1980's as being a great time for Washburn guitars.

ya like I say I have this exact guitar they are one of a kind - with the neck all the way through the body and the 2 dark brown lines on the back - its easy to spot its my favorite guitar & I play it all the time - will never part with it !!
