| Actualy, Voldy did try several Avada-Kedara's in the book, but Dumbledore managed to avoid them all. Besides, I think they were aiming for a more cinematic effect; whats more fun to watch, little green jets of flying light, or a gigantic fire snake? :) |

| You cant sheild Avada Kedavra Curses, you can avoid them, you cant use a simple or even complex sheild spell to repel a Avada Kedavra Curse, but u can avoid them. |
