I think Shawn Mullins is a poet and puts poetry into song instead of just on paper, genious, writing amazing songs. Would like to know more about this guy. Peace.

I don't think the blue filter on his eyes is a matter of pride. The song talks about a blue eyed boy. The eyes are emphasized as part of the song. If you notice at the end of the song, the blond, white boy turns into him.

iota1122, the original "Shimmer" was far and away the best, for me. The first releases of "Souls Core" (God, what a work of sheer genius and heart) had the "good" version, and subsequent releases of the same CD have the new one.

I think it shows how good an artist Shawn Mullins really is. When even i enjoy listening to his tracks. Not my usual music genre. But still one of my top ten favourite Artists of all time..
