the date of Christ's birth isn't really important. What He did is what defines us all. He saved us, and that's why we remeber his birth at the soltice, as a symbol. Jesus is the Light that conquers the darkness.

This is such a great piece of music, so dreamy and inspiring.
One of the best Christmas songs of all time, and certainly one of Enya's best pieces of music.
Is it available on any album though? I have most of Enya's albums but it is not on them.

southernelle - Irish is a language. The full name is Irish Gaelic but we just refer to it as Irish. There are also Scottish Gaelic and Manx Gaelic. If you just said Gaelic, you could be referring to any of them.

actually its been proven that he was born during the summer, most likely june. the reason we celebrate it when we do is because december is when the romans celebrated their lights festival, hence the tradition of stringing lights everywhere.
