Screaming hurts your vocal chords dude, there's some technique for less harm, but there's nothing to completely keep it from tearing. Cause screaming is damage, otherwise it doesn't give you a good sound.

and that isnt completely true... there are ways to scream where it doesnt hurt your throat, you just have to scream from your abdomen, but not a lot of people can do that... like alex screams from his throat. so did m shadows in a7xs old stuff
