yea its bs square waited til these guys were so far into development to file a lawsuit. They don't want a 3D version to be released. why spend money on a 3d version when people are desperate enough to pay for another SNES port. that 3d version would wipe they're sales and if they bought it they'd just be wasting money on a project they don't need cuz so many ppl will buy the snes version. anyway you slice it, they didn't see CT being remade. they just saw a price tag. -.-; square is dead to me.

First, it's a fan project. Second, the graphics are much better anything the ps1 ever showed and better than various games of the ps2. Besides if Square had these guys working with them the games would probably come out better.

Actually it started off with a few people but later on many other people came in adding things to the game. And actually yeah even if it was only 5 guys they'd be able to do this in the 3 years they had been working on it.

I remember seein this a couple years back had me all hyped up ... they had so much right.. the room and all that it was a pretty dang good project technically i wonder (in all stupidity of continuing for an argument) if they liked just changed the name a widdle bit could they get away wit it? naw i kid but really look it up it was a great projecct and they even have the words of the square guy when they got shut down posted

yah i have to agree with a few other people, square enix were kinda douchebags on this one, ino they need to make money and everything, but come on. Everyone has been asking for a new CT and they werent doing shit and then this comes into the field and they shut it down, all i can say is squarenix had better come out with something 2x as good as this. I mean couldnt they have worked out a deal or soemthiing with the creators?

Square Enix doesn't deserve to have a patent on Chrono Trigger. If I were all of you watching this, I'd try and find prior art of this game. Prior art is patent killer material. Find it and post it in a place where alot of people can see it easily.

stussyboys, it says right in the video description, it was shut down by Squaresoft. One of the main things that pisses me off is that they shut it down simply because they can. What has Square done with Chrono Trigger lately? Oh yeah. They're making a DS port. Not even a remake. A PORT.
