honestly ive lived her my entire life. and tulsa aint that great of a place. and its the people that run the place that are worse. our mayor, city council, and senators. are capable of doing something about this.....and dont!. their more worried about the southside of town than anything else. even our school system is screwed. and believe me when the opportunity comes to leave here........i will! get my family in a town that they can actually grow up in. rather than this crooked place

Tulsa is an great city in my opinion. Downtown and Riverside are my favorite areas. Anyway, it's a hell of a lot better than OKC!

A small portion of the "homeless" are truly unable to provide for themselves, but the majority have placed themselves there willfully due to drug abuse, or refusal to hold down a job.
Tulsa is like any large city, a great many illegals have coming here, and are working everywhere. These illegals would not be here if there were not plenty of jobs. Most of these many don't want the jobs, would rather rely on handouts.
I have worked in downtown Tulsa for 24 years. More aid = more "homeless"

yeah i live near tulsa and mapquest took me to the bad side one day..it was scary ppl were walking around with shopping carts with all their possesions. i thought that was somethiing you only saw in movies..boy was i wrong.
