thankyou so much for your video. i have learned alot and i am going to watch more of your videos. amature astronomers need people like you to share information. books and internet alone isn't enough i find if i going to learn something its better if its being told to you than read from a book or internet. thankyou once again.

sorry but i have no link to a picture of it online but i can tell you a little about it its a simmons telescope model 6310 and its a pretty descent small telescope when it comes to viewing the stars and planets but i want to adventure deep into space and view nebulae wich i cant see becouse they are either too bright and way way way to far away to view through my telescope

Well now I have an even bigger concern! If the diametar of your previous scope is the same as the diameter of the scope you just bought you are not going to see any difference between the two. A larger scope may bring out more detail in an object but because celestial objects like nebula and galaxies are dime and the human eye not so sensitive dont be supprised if you get the same result.

At the time of this message Lyra rises in the on the eastern horizon around 11pm-12am. As we go into summer it will rise 4 min earlier each day. A planisphere can help you know when to look for it.

Holy, expletive! You are one of the best teachers that I've witnessed. The way you slowly and methodically, without any trace of condesention, explain the fundamentals is just incredible.
I hope teaching is an occupation for you, bro. Thanks much.

Hi Truemartian! I just wanted to let you know that you have helped me get a great start on my astronomical journey. I obtained a planisphere for Christmas and have been practicing with it for quite some time now, and I love astronomy more and more each day. I will be starting my freshman year of college soon and plan on majoring in physics/astronomy, and I couldn't be more excited. Keep up the great work my friend, you are a fantastic teacher!

I'm begging someone to give me a set of coordinates or chart so I can image it. There are thousands of amateurs out there capable of tracking it. So far none of them are reporting anything out of place up there. Apparently it dosent exist. I've certainly got the capability to track it myself. Especially since I just tracked down Pluto a few weeks ago.

Greetings truemartian. Your videos are very helpful and interesting. I know very little about telescope/binoculars but seriously thinking of purchasing a Orion SkyQuest XT8. I heard someone mention that many astro binoculars are comparable to telescopes. If so, what magnification & lens diameter would give me the same viewing capabilities as the XT8 and what brand would you recommend? Thanks and hope to hear from your very soon. Peace.
