Dusty Rhodes wrote in his autobiography that Mark Lewin was the best babyface he'd ever seen. Lewin was at his best when working The Sheik (Ed Farhat). Lewin was only one of 2 or 3 guys that Farhat let beat him for the US Heavyweight strap. Lewin was awesome in selling for The Sheik and during his comebacks in the matches.

Lewin had what it took to be World Champion. He was an effective face, had a good look, drew money and was also a great heel. I wonder why he was never considered. Because he didnt wrestle much in the St. Louis area?
