Freddie has recorded some great vocals, however, on stage hes not as good as in the studio. This song is performed like 2 tones lower then the cd version. But his musical mind was amazing and still lives on:).

But in other videos he sounds better, like the older ones. As he got older he got polyps on his vocal chords from straining them but he never got them removed in fear that it would change his voice. Vocal polyps are not good for singing.

Yeah I heard that to. I didnt hear much old recordings, but I have an audio album of a live show in 1979 I thkn. I did notice his voice was better then. Its true for alot of singers that the high notes become harder over time. I sure cant do what he did lol.

i have to disagree i think he has an amazing voice if you watch the documentary on his life and what he had to do to get his voice the way it is and how he sounded b4 i think he sounds great and yea its true he sounds better on his cds but every one sounds better because you can mess with it atleast hes not up there fakeing it like most people to these days hes an amazing singer and an amazing performer and most of all an amazing person R.I.P Freddy we all miss you

aaron12345tube. nope your dad is wrong. brian may wrote this song in 86, and this concert is in 86. he died in 91 he did many songs after this one. also, your dad said he did this song a week before he died? do you think he would be doing concerts, etc a week before he died? this tour was his last tour 5 years before he died
