11/14 - A few years ago a portable jukebox was discovered which belonged to John Lennon in the 1960s. The jukebox conntained a tracklist of 40 records - soul, R &B and Rock 'n' Roll - written in Lennon's own handwriting. These are the songs which shaped his musical education and they reveal many of the original sources of inspiration for his later songwriting.

the funk brothers did a lot of moonlighting and there were many links between Chess and Motown.Check out the biography of Billy Davis.Maurice White of Earth Wind and Fire played drums on this record and Minnie Ripperton helped with background vocals.
