A John Lennon tribute video, set to O.A.R.'s "Dakota".
This is my first solo editing job, and I must say I'm pretty proud of it. Truly a labor of love. :) The pictures of the Dakota Apartment Building and Strawberry Fields were taken by me on my New York trip this past April.

Nice tribute video and love the song. I went to NYC last Christmas. John is still alive there.
Nothing to do with the Dakota Apartments, bur Dakota is my granddaughters name.
I saw the Beatles in Cleveland when they came to the US for the first time. It wasn't even my ticket, it was my brothers. He went up to NY state visiting family, didn't make it back in time. My gain, his loss. I can remember the whole thing like it was yesterday.
Wish it was and John was back with us.

omg, you know what i realized, i recently took a trip to new york, and i was on my way to visit strawberry fields. At the time, i didn't know where john was shot, so i had no idea what the dakota building looked like.. but after seeing this video and there being pictures, i recall actually seeing that building, and for some reason being really attracted to it! no joke! i paid really close detail to it too.. wow intense

Haha yeah I guess it could be taken that way. Although my intention was that those lyrics were for Yoko - "the thief" took John away from her (I hope that made sense).
