In one of the more unusual "first dance" songs you'll hear, Becky and I chose "In Spite Of Ourselves" by John Prine (a duet with Iris Dement). We heard this obscure country song on the radio while driving through Kansas on a cross-country road trip during college, and immediately thought it was a great song for us. If you listen closely, you can hear lots of laughter at the lyrics, as well as Becky's mom yelling "WHAT?!?" after one of the funnier lines. Everybody loved the song, though.
