Oh fuck! My hair is balding out!!! I didn't even notice it for some time. I just went to the barber shop there, and the hairdresser was like: "oooh, you got a balding spot there, at the back of your head!". I was like (in my mind) "FFS, your taking the shit now, aren't you???!" But she was right... I took a mirror to the back of my head... there it was clearly thinning out... GODDAMITTT!!!! I thought I was on the safe side, almost nobody in my family has problems with this. BUT I SEEM TO HAVE!

ndependent music used to have some testicular fortitude back in the nineties and eighties. Now the indie scene is just a bunch of pretentious art school hippies trying to show us how sincere they are. Dischord Records beats kids like the Silver Sun Pick Ups and Death Cab For The Cutie like a drum. Jawbox, Fugazi, Pavement, all of those old indie bands pushed the envelope. Now people think musical progress is making random noises while singing loud (Coco Rosie *cough* *cough*)

Nah, man I know what I like. And I've got a pretty expansive pallet. I listen to everything. But the new indie scene is so trendy and over saturated. There's no attitude anymore. It's just fluff. Pavement was raw and fun. One of a kind.

Geeze Louis.. c'mon people. Let's not cyber argue about irrelevant things. I think we can all agree Pavement are deliciously cooky and wonderfully absurd, not to mention talented. It was a great period of time in music. However..there is still great music being made today; it's just not involved in the mainstream. There will always be good music being produced, no matter what the general population enjoys. If you really don't like the music industry today, make your own music.
