This looks like a professional production of a film that the producers of Lost would make. The film maker clearly has a handle on how to make an authentic retro film like those 16mm instruction films that the government and their contractors use to make in the 1970's. I think the Lost producers are being very sly in producing this and leaking it onto YouTube.

That's cool, this is official though right? Cause that explains how Hanso/Dharma found the island in the first place, and the thing in the sky that exploded into bright light must have been the satelite, whoa!

ok sorry for that. but this not just made by some guy. this was made by abc itself, with probably jj abrams and the creative team on board. just a way to keep the lost series alive on the net. some kind of a net easter egg, a clue, a tease for us so that to make us crazy, again.

this video supports my theory about the magnetic feild. In the show lost in i think season 2, it shows two guys in some lab with lots of snow out the window. I figure they are in the artic because the earths magnetic feild is the weakest there. This is why we see the northern lights (sun radation) The artic would be the best place to notice a large release of magnetic energy (island and the botton not being pushed)

DOes anyone know if this is a fan made video or an official one released by the producers of lost?? A small part of the clip is from an IBM military computer film from the 50's. But the lost producers have used US govt footage in their orentation films anyway.
