I know extensively the works of both Becker and Friedman but this solo has something that gives me the chills... Besides i said ONE of the bests, no THE best...

those are not harmonics, they are just notes played an octave higher. Kiko has that kind of licks in lots of his solos.

Rusty has a reasonable amount of creativity here and there...But other than that I agree he is quite lacking in getting me to feel the music. (Might just be my own personal prefs.) But nothing like this! Kiko is prime example between speed, melody, technique, and class IMO (among others!)

And Harmony on his Universo inverso Album :-) very interesting harmony as well! Kiko is just a pleasure to listen to. He's fast if he wants to, but he'll play whateversuits to the music, which is awesome. Very complete!

His tone is so great and he's incredibly clean despite how fast he is. It's also hilarious to see elitist, quasi-intellectual asses come in and immediately go "fast guitar player, oh pshaw, fast doesn't mean good, listen to XXXX" and then list some obscure jazz guitarist. Yeah, we get it, jazz was and is always overshadowed by popular music and is intricate in its own way but just throwing it out there is no argument against someone as good as Kiko, who can easily play things besides metal.
