I don't think they make a P-01 for lefties, but they do make the full frame version for lefties. Look for the CZ-85

i have the cz75 in 40 its fun! if youve ever seen the movie snatch a heavy gun is relible, and if you run out of bullets you can always throw the gun at the other guy ;) jk. as my friend puts it if i run out of 40 shooting at some one with 2 ten round mags i shouldnt own a gun... other then its jammed like 2 times so far it is a nice gun and i carry it with me when ever at home. i havent had much time at the range with it but i hope to change that soon. the cz's are great and they eat all ammo
um... i got my cz ... ( 7 months ago by Mcdeathbruger)
um... i got my cz 40 for $350 so where the hell are you spending half a grand on a gun? go buy used, and by used i mean even if its been out of the store for just 3 seconds its considered used. thats what my cz 40 is it was never used but cost the same as if it had been some guy just collected them for some reason but never used them. hence me not being able to take apart the slid. not worried about it because the gun will shoot any thing i feed it. i should be able to take it apart after some

more shooting. i've only put about 100 rounds through it so i think if i put another 400 rounds through it i should be able to get it apart much easier.

Your trigger will become very nice after a few thousand rounds. When I bought my CZ75 my only concern was the trigger, its nice and smooth now. I have had mine for many years and many thousands of rounds without a problem what so ever. I have shot strings of 5k rds without any cleaning, tossed it in sand and mud, left it in the snow and -10 degree weather, fired hundreds of different types of ammo from steel cased crap to +p+ and it has always went bang.

my friend the one that said i shouldn't have gun if i can hit what i'm aiming at with two ten round mags has a CZ75 9mm he loves it and has put it through the ringer I buy him ammo for his gun b-day and xmas because he goes to the range more often then I do I ask what kind of 9mm he want he always tells me any kind will be good :p so i get the cheap stuff and the gun still chews it up and spits out the lead and casing without a problem.

I have a CZ 75B and its one of my favorite pistol.Never once had a problem after 2500+ rounds.I'm going to get a P01 next,as they are smaller and lighter than the 75B for a CCW.

hey sean can you use hi cap 20 or 30 rnd mags in it like you can with the full sized cz 75??? thanks

I've never tried it, but Ive heard that the the mags for the full-sized 75 will work in the P-01/SP-01. So I imagine that a thirty round mag designed for the larger 75 will work.

cool, thanks for the video man I think I'm going to buy one like yours next week, I'm so happy! yeah! I was going to buy a glock 19 but these seem to be perfect for me as they are so damn tough, I read one guy put 90,000 rounds through his cz75d and I have no doubt these new ones are just as tough, thanks again
Hi. Great vid by ... ( 5 months ago by Dav777)
Hi. Great vid by the way. I was thinking of purchasing CZ 75B (full size)as my first pistol. But now your vid has me reconsidering the P. Mostly for better accuarcy at range and home defense purposes. I like the idea that if I have to take to the road, this is a better CC. THe only major problem I have with the B is that the safety does not give you a trigger down safety option. Only cocked conditon one option. I'm concerned about possible misfires as safety is paramount. Same thing with the P?
The P does not have ... ( 5 months ago by Seanwins)
The P does not have a safety. I carry it with a round chambered at half-cock. The initial trigger pull is long and I don't worry about misfires. I like it that way. I'm sure I could train myself to take the weapon off of safe as I draw, but I like that I don't even need to worry about it. It's good to go from the moment I draw.
Sean, I am at the ... ( 4 months ago by torokun)
Sean, I am at the moment trying to decide between CZ 75 Compact vs. CZ 75 P-01. I understand that P-01 is more improved in several features and more modern. But I just love the OG look and the heritage of 75 Compact. Did you go through a process of deciding between these two models by any chance? And if you have, did P-01's improvement significant enough over 75 Compact's? From what I can tell, these are key improvents. -aluminum alloy frame -de-cocker (no manual safety -m3 rail
I did sort of go ... ( 4 months ago by Seanwins)
I did sort of go through that process. I fell in love with the P-01 the moment I picked it up, but I went home and did some research before I bought it and compared it to the PCR and the compact. The P-01 is right at the weight limit of what I feel comfortable carrying concealed and I like its looks and the added features. The compact is a great gun though! If you feel comfortable carrying a larger pistol and you like the compact then you should get it!
Is P-01 ... ( 4 months ago by torokun)
Is P-01 significantly larger than 75 Compact? I have a small hand. I just tried HK USP Compact today and that even felt little bigger than I would want... Also, safety is a big issue for me. having the manual safety removed and having de-cocker... is that good enough of safety?
I think that the ... ( 4 months ago by Seanwins)
I think that the de-cocker is every bit as good as the safety. I think the P-01 might be smaller than the Compact, but I wouldn't buy it without handling it first.

Absolutely! Of course, a lot of that depends on how well a person can shoot...but they have a reputation as being accurate right out of the box.
