I suggest you run ... ( 1 year ago by ianmcandrewmusic)
I suggest you run out and purchase a music dictionary as soon as possible so that you can stop flouting your ignorance in public.
"Treble" refers to either 1) a clef; 2) a child's voice (especially that of a pre-pubescent boy). It has NOTHING to do with vibrato, sustained or otherwise.

I thought this was a very straight-ahead version. I saw nothing campy about it.
This fellow ... ( 1 year ago by ianmcandrewmusic)
This fellow displays talent far ahead of most teen-aged boys, whose voices naturally develop much later than those of girls.
3) archaically, ... ( 1 year ago by ianmcandrewmusic)
3) archaically, treble was used to refer to the highest part in an ensemble, especially choirs, but also in instrumental pieces, hence the term "treble recorder", etc. Now usually replaced by the term "soprano".
thx for flouting ... ( 1 year ago by insolence)
thx for flouting YOURself at me. i was merely saying some fact but thx for correcting my erroneous ways. but there IS a word for maintained oscillation of the voice, not vibrato, but starts with a T. maybe you're smart enuf to let us know
Insolence: Please ... ( 1 year ago by ianmcandrewmusic)
Insolence: Please pardon MY insolence! I was extremely rude and I have no excuse. I must also apologize for using "flout" when I meant "flaunt". If you will get the musical dictionary, I will get an English one!
The only word I can think of starting with "T" that means vibrato is tremolo, but that doesn't make sense in context. Yes, Corey has a fairly large vibrato. Whether this is the result of a breath control issue or of physiognomy there seems to be some debate. Major Jerk, aka Ian

Looking at it again, you're right... I was being overly critical. It's an effective interpretation for the young actor.

Possibly - YOU - with your knowledge of the threatre - become THE Threatre Critic of the New York Times. They would then laugh you right off the NY stage.
Very nice voice, ... ( 3 months ago by dumbtube)
Very nice voice, especially for his age. shame they left out the intro - I'm struggling to sing it but the high range (of the intro) is killing me. good breath control and a pleasant vibrato - is it me or does everyone sound like Michael Feinstein nowadays?

Huh? Freddy Eindford hill is an Englishman . . . not an American!!! If you can't create the correct character, it doesn't matter how well you sing.
jeez. stick up your ... ( 1 week ago by twiztedkid90)
jeez. stick up your ass? isn't one of the main themes of the musical the emphasis on SPEECH? I didn't actually say anything about the fact that he's using so much vibrato that the opera would be jealous, and NY would laugh this show right off the street, not me. hah. And he sings like a girl, by the way. and look up, someone else agrees. "Huh? Freddy Eindford hill is an Englishman . . . not an American!!! If you can't create the correct character, it doesn't matter how well you sing."
