Even after your comment, as I listen to this classic, I cannot agree with your basic premise. Remember its just as ez to interpret Curtis' drinking as his way to cope with oppression and being given no hope of the pursuit of happiness; yet he mastered the strings and lives in the memory of those who he inspired.... |
