i've already had this discussion with others.
when summary reports come out saying what 'would' or 'could' happen without giving the whole picture this is what happens.
if you wish to take your information from a summary given by people who openly admit to using scare tactics in order to get people to do the 'right thing' you are condemned to believe whatever lies they feed you.
if gore actually believed what he was saying he'd not be living in a home which burns more power than a dozen average homes.
he's a hypocrit and willing to falsify anything to promote his own agenda.
you've already admitted that you've never even read the report so, no, you don't know the outcome of the report. you only know what has been printed in the summaries.
by the way, when you resort to name calling when you have nothing to stand on it only shows your ignorance.
another little tid bit. satellite data, weather balloon data and MOST of the weather stations have shown a slight decline in temps since 1999.
properly installed weather stations showed no warming trend. either stability or slight decline same as weather balloons and satellite data.
it makes a HUGE difference where you get your data.
First, CO2 and temperature: When viewed coarsely, historical CO2 levels and temperature show a tight correlation. A closer examination of the CH4, CO2, and temperature fluctuations recorded in the Antarctic ice core records reveals that, yes, temperature moved first.
The MSU Satellite temperature analysis now shows warming well in line with model expectations. There was a debate about this and turned out to be a great validation of the models and a real death blow to the "earth is not warming" crowd.
If you were interested in FACTS, which you are not,
