An airplane flying at 33,000 feet is the same as about 1.5 chest x-rays. Flight attendants damage their oocytes during their lives by receiving radiation similar to workers in nuclear plants. They aren't even aware of this; they are not given dosimeters to see how much radiation they are receiving.

The largest dose you'll receive is about 10mSv (millisieverts) which is about 1 rem (roentgen equivalent man) this exposure is less than 5 TIMES THE MAXIMUM Total Effective Deep Dose equivalent exposure set in the United States Code of Federal Regulations for workers PER YEAR.
