A tribute to one of Joe Pass's main influence, Django Reinhardt. I think the song was written by John Lewis. Solo by Joe Pass (unfortunately I'm not even close to being that good yet) and transcribed by Wolf Marshall for the book "The Best of Joe Pass". This song is off Joe Pass's CD "For Django".

you are a great young player. Work on your swing rhythm here more. Excellent lead work! Treat yourself to a nice holly body - when I did it made me enjoy playing that type of music 10x more! You deserve a nice ax to play that great material on. Good job

Half of what you play would be 50% easier if you used your little finger. Nice work though. Now work on your own ideas, rather than copying, then you could be the next Joe Pass.

Wow man, absolutely incredible. Please, please keep pursuing this type of music, at least along with whatever else you're playing. You've got the talent and the feel for it that many players lack. I put this video in my favorites and watch it when I need to hear some truly inspirational music played really damn well.

Well done! I liked your feel on it. I transcribed this a few years ago, and it ain't easy. For Django is probably my favorite Pass album. Thanks for keeping it alive.
