im white, proudly but at the same time im embarassed at how much evil we have done in the past to black people and native indians. Africans called us the white devil, because we came into their continent and enslaved them and took everything and brought them to america as our slaves. And nowadays in the US they arnt even given a chance at life, they are born and raised in the slums where you pretty much dont have a choice but to follow the wrong path. i dont blame them for anything.

In calling us ignorant, you show your own ignorance. The slavery issue wasn't just about whites. In traingular trade, the blacks sold blacks into slavery. Native Americans owned African American slaves aswell. The Five Civilized Tribes owned around 12,000 African American slaves by 1860. As for us not caring about African Americans, ever hear of the Emancipation Proclomation, or the 14th Ammendment?

Your claim about "Five Civilized Tribes" owning slaves is unfounded. The Seminole nation, 1 of the 5, came into existence in the 18th century and was composed of Native Americans from Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama, most significantly the Creek Nation, as well as African Americans who escaped from slavery in South Carolina and Georgia. It's cool. If you are interested in history, "A People's History.." is the best comprehensive book on American history available. Unfortunately, it is only used in college class rooms or AP high school history classes, so not enough people get exposed to it, real history. You should enjoy the sections on the civil war.

My dad told me a story once about when he was a cop, he worked DC law enforcement on the streets in the 1980s. His station was composed of mostly mostly African American males. In a year that he worked there, there was a march of a total of 3 KKK members. Guess what his department had to do? Protect their goddamn march, a mostly african american police office from DC protecting a KKK march from 20000 pissed off people. The cops carried out their job without a complaint.
