This always brings a tear to my eye. Even the great Bowie fills up during this song. I'm only 12, but this song reminds me of someone close who's recently been lost. Even before so, the imagery conveyed through the lyrics of this song is truly amazing. Better than any novel!

It's bloody impressive that David performed so soon after his heart surgery crisis, apparently he was determined because it was a Hurricane Katrina benefit, his only appearance stipulation to the producers was that The Arcade Fire be on the program. Top class always.
