Marcus IS a Vampire. He IS THE FIRST vampire. 'Alexander Corvinus' was the one who is the "Immortal". One of Alexander's sons were bitten by a bat (Marcus!!!) and became the first Vampire, one was bitten by a wolf (William) and became the first Lycan. Marcus is killed by Selene, William is killed by Michael.

They are apparantly working on a third Underworld movie, daliiibor. The third one is supposed to be a prequal, and it will tell the story of Lucian during the dark ages. Before Viktor killed Sonja that is.

dude her name is selene and she is a vampire the guy is michael and he is what the vampires and lycans consider a hybrid also (if you have already seen the movie) you learn that victor was once human and that marcus was the original vampire.
