yea danic95 is saying the same thing as i.
all those drummers u named DID do something unique. people just think that john bonham's moby dick is so cool because the whole solo is just triplets over and over. its repatative and boring.keith moon doesnt do that in his drum solos. what can u not understand about that? im making a new video playing behind blue eyes again. i made that previous video like a year ago. JOHN BONHAM IS NOT THE GREATEST DRUMMER!!

nobody says he is the best ... there is no best ! i guess its pointless to argue with someone who is that new to drumming like you are.

Well, It could be ... ( 1 month ago by danlc95)
Well, It could be that bankruptfilly is just sick of hearing about John Bohnam. He himself proved to me that replicating Mon's parts is possible. I thought he did an awesome job capturing the essence of Moon's playing on Behind Blue Eyes. Was it spot on? Probabally not, but very close. I've also yet to hear a drummer just like JB.

Dude, search here on Youtube for a video that was done at a drum clinic the last couple of years, it's : "carl palmer snare demo" . Carl was like 56 when this was recorded, looks like he's in his thirties, still creative as ever.

This is a killer solo! But.. i might get lots of thumbs down for this.. but.. I dont know if he meant to do it but his 'double bass' lagged alot.. He could go fast and even for a while then it just began to drag and became sloppy. What the fuck.. im no expert.. But thats just what i noticed.. I love this solo anyway 5*

I don't think it's a big secret to say that I truley believe that Neil Peart copied Carl Palmer's drum setup. The do look very similar.

Im a traditional ... ( 2 weeks ago by britishinvasion1)
Im a traditional rock and rock guy, And for me there are 4 drummers that are the foundation of rock percussion. Keith Moon, Carl Palmer, John Bohnam and Neil Peart. Who could argue that?
You forgot Bozzio ... ( 2 weeks ago by fadethetrade)
You forgot Bozzio and Colaiuta! To play Zappa's music is already a top foundation of any percussion style, rock, jazz, fusion, classical etc.etc.
Actually keith moon and bonham don't cut the top 4! Peart is up there of course.
