I like these songs so much better than his sad attempts at being black. No offense, I'm just no fan of Heroes of Earth, it sounds so forced.

OMG I was gonna post a comment like dat, but then I thought "I'm so gonna get 500 thumbs down per second...". And, I'm black! Thing is I've been re-listening to his songs lately, and I have to say that the old and simple stuff move me more than "Heoes of Earth" and other rencent stuff. Songs like "Bu yao hai pa", "ai de jiu shi ni" ... are sooooo powerful to me!!! Glad to see I'm not the only one to feel that way.

'attempt' at being 'black'? Dude, you're pretty racist. Heroes of Earth wasn't really an attempt to being black. It's more of an experimental album with a mixture of traditional Chinese instruments.

i find his heroes of earth album interesting, not my favourite but there are some good songs in there. and i respect his exploration of beijing opera in it... how he combined that with rap. i guess leehom's all about experimenting with new genres and trying to re-invent things... sometimes it works better than others and i think the way he mishmashes genres make sense, it's not just about making a statement.

thinking about it, i actually admire the way he has transformed rap/r'n'b music ... i never really got into that sort of urban culture, but he's made it enjoyable for me to listen to :-)

this song is a satire towards pirated music and paparazzi. in the song he says that his ideal world is still not here yet. i guess his ideal world would be a place where there is no pirated CDs/DVDs, no paparazzi and all anyone cares about is MUSIC. and the meaning of "wo bu xiang xin" is I DON'T BELIEVE but in this context, adding an IT at the back would be better

actually wo bu xiang xin could mean both. you could add another word in there for example you could add "you" in the back of it to mean I don't believe you, but without the word still means I don't believe it.

wo bu xiang xin literally means 'i dont believe'..but it means 'i dont/cant believe it' in this case, i think..the literal translation for that would mean that he's referring to an animal or object and would sound weird if he didnt follow it up with 'can do (something)'..
