Harpsucker, you did great posting this! WOW!!! He is alive again here, I think I'll just stay here and play these over and over all day! Ronnie, if you're listening, you played great!!! You are magnificent, and you will last throughout history now with Big Walter by your side. People a thousand years from now will see how fantabulous you are, and study your superb, tasteful style of how to perfectly accompany the master! Thank you for this beautiful jewel, I will save it. 5 stars +!

Absoolutely obscene it's so good. I pity those who don't know about this stuff. I mean, this is just too funky for words. Aces up to the person who posted this.
All the harp that ... ( 1 year ago by lazur1)
All the harp that you ever need to hear was by Big and Little Walter. I used to see big Walter play out of a Fender "Champ", the smallest amp you can get. You could hear him over the band with no problem, and half the time he didn't even use the mic! What a powerhouse. There's a rumor that as a kid, he was getting good sounds from tin cans. I believe it. Ronnie Earl, who is now revered for his years of good blues, proves early on you've either got it or you don't.

Fantastic..and ... ( 2 months ago by AndrewOdom)
Fantastic..and about the same rough quality of what I have on a bootleg VHS..! From what I understand, this is from a never-finished, and never-released documentary on Big Walter..! It's high-time it was issued. I lived in Boston years after this era but ran into people who said they'd see Big Walter playing regularly with Ronnie Earl for a time. To this day, there are a handful of old-time players in the Boston area, but just a handful.
Thanks for posting it!
