I love this hippo, I think it's wonderful what this nice family are doing. That said, obviously thid guy is an expert with wild animals. Under normal circumastancess wild animals should never be pets. I don't think Jessica would intentionally turn on her family at all, but sometimes accidents happen.

That is so amazing. I have a VERY strong love for hippos. I wish I has one just like Jessica. I'd just see her as a best friend, or a larger dog, not a hippo.

I remember a UK zoo keeper in the mid 60's, hand raised a baby hippo. Used to put on a bit of a show for the visitors to the zoo, especially the young kids by displaying how tame his hippo was by sticking his head in its mouth... Until the hippo finally got bored and bit off the zoo keepers head...
