The 'War on Democracy' and the 'War on Terrorism' are euphemisms for the naked aggression of the Christian conquest. Since Hiroshima the US has presented itself as the policeman of the Christian Conquest. Since WW11 the Vatican and the CIA have vibrated about ratlining the Nazis. From that the US became infected with the virus of Catholicism. If the US doesn't get rid of the Jesuits and their so-called universities, the jesuits will control US foreign police...

The Jesuits aren't what they used to be. Look at the state of Jesuit Universities. At one time the Jesuits were truly the "men in black" what are they now? A bunch of "bachelor" social workers. In my country, the cultivation of the Jesuit-led education system has made all secular government (even in its fight against Protestant enlightenment) has reduced all notion of Irish education to that of a parrot...From these Universities, come the top govenment officials, civil service, judges, lawayers, etc.. Try not to think in individual time, but in Corporate Tme, and you'll guess why there are so many of such institutions in the US, India, the Americas, etc..

I don't know about that. I have read the book... one has to put the pieces of these things together. The Da Vinci code was good in the sense it showed Silas as a desperate man used by the Opus Dei... In this kind of context, I think they have enormous powers... But my question still remains: why so many universities? And where do you imagine that the Jesuits or Opus Dei are 'dying'???? All the Russian Empire has fallen to them and their cousins ,the Orthodox churches....

Opus Dei and the other "Traditionalist" Catholics are getting stronger. In America, the Jesuits are notorious for being socialist. The Jesuit High Schools that used to educate the elite aren't even Catholic in spirit. The Jesuits are now building schools for poor latinos and blacks in the inner cities. They have given up producing leaders from the elites of the US. The Universities run by the Jesuits are also all on the left of the American politcal scale.

The Jesuits, being political and , like Opus Dei, operative at the executive level, have the luxury of being whatever the corporation needs them to be, so long as it does not blow their cover of 'helping the poor'. Opus is only of WW11 vintage (hardly 'traditional'). After the Communist scare and the Holacaust, the Js have come to know that they have been too successful... Any group of people Vatican driven who owns 4,000 educational institutions (including some 30 or so universities in the US and Indian alone) can hardly be described as a 'joke'. Even India and the US have not got so much influence in their own countries! From Clongowes (in concunction with a few Universities and colleges) they govern Ireland since 1922 -- and I mean govern and I mean All Ireland. The same in Poland, Spain, etc.,etc..

Reports in the US are that Ireland is becoming more secular and that the Catholic Church has lost influence. Is is safe to say that the Jesuits are reinventing themselves? Yes, and in general I agree with what you say. But some distinctions need to be made. In Ireland the church was so strong that , uniquely, the taxpayer had to pick up the tag for the pedophilia, and were it not for a couple of English journalists ,the Irish would have heard as much about it as they heard about the Nazi ratlines... Secondly, the RCChurch is perfectly resilient and All-Powerful.. and what seems is never where the real seat of power lies...
