The award-winning marching band from Winona Cotter High School takes the field at Irondale High School's Fall 2004 Field Show Competition, "It's About Time." Performing the piece "La Nouba" (based off the soundtrack of the Cirque Du Soleil show bearing the same name), Cotter's show is divided into
four parts: Distorted, Revé Rouge, A La Lune, and Urban. Soloists during Revé Rouge are trumpet players Steve Wille and Michael Brickl.

Good job! This is a very good show. Our marching band played Cirque du Soleil this season, but we played Distorted, Reve Rouge, and Incantation. The marching is pretty good. The trumpet soloists were right in tune. Good job!

Well it's a very nice show. The only two things I can say for the band as a whole is : elbows out on the brasses, clearer definition of marching, and overall attitude.other than that it's very nice.

we are doing distorted, a la lune, reve rough, and urban in my band and i love them they are so much fun!!! but the marching is a little tricky cuz this is my first year marching.

We had that EXACT same show my first year! It was so fun! In the part of A La Lune where the trumpets play that cool part where it really slows down I suggest having a flag twirler pretend she's walking on a tight rope!! Like in the beginning it's slow and she is uneasy then by the end it's really fast and she has the hang of it, you know?

lol me too! Reve' is the hardest for me right now (We still learning it) Cause Im n with the Mid voices and I have to do a float or whatever, but at adjusted step to the sax in front of me, and i keep poking her with meh flute =( Distorted is fun though =)
