I'm sorry to be so blunt, but if that's what graphic design is to you then you really need to do something else. This video looks like it was made by a marketer. Graphic Design is supposed to be fun, wild, adventurous, artistic, pure inspiration that you think about all day and can't wait to make something out of it. This is just ugly barn dance music set to some marketing dude making THE most boring outline EVER! I'm a graphic designer 11 yrs and this is the opposite of everything it entails.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your comment! This video is a marketing video. It makes graphic design look beyond boring. I only work from inspiration. This video with is HORRID music makes me want to crawl under a bush and die. I need to go listen to some My Chemical Romance so I can get back on my game!

well in a sence graphic design is what keeps people happy and not wanting to kill them selves, with out graphic design you TV and even youtube will suck a lot, because do u realy want to live in a grey world and wake up and look outside and all you see is grey and dullness, that would suck unless you like that kind of thing and if being "cool" means looking out side to color instead of grey then ill stick to "cool" any day

If you love concepts over the skins you'll get funny moments all days, too. But the problem is MATERIALISM, people shouldn't need every day any fashion "creations" to be happy, because their posesions don't say nothing about their personality if they haven't any critical atemporal opinion to buy this products Usually it's just a lie & hypocrisy to be accept in their community. If U prefer the image than the 1000 words, firstly U should know the 1000 words and after U'll enjoy the image better

But the companies wants to keep this social reality alive, and some times not. In time I don't trust in take a radical change, but design must educate the society to be more mature: - Do U want to enjoying the beers like a teenager in his first "Foam Party" or U want to drink Dom P
érignon like in "Last Night Party"? For me it's clear, graffnameseed. But don't leave the banal & kitsch design, for many persons are important, freedom is for everybody, just find a concept to justificate it, no?

The video is creatively put together, but boring to watch and the music is irritating and nearly intolerable.
Also, it's basically a collection of nice words that could be applied to graphic design (or any number of creative endeavors), but it is certainly NOT, "an exploration of the process behind graphic design."
