Because natural selection is the tool that culls away negative changes. An organism with a harmful mutation is less successful at reproducing than the wild-type, and therefore does not pass that mutation to the next generation. An organism with a beneficial mutation, on the other hand, is MORE su

I wish we had these when I did 1st year biology. It makes the whole process much easier to understand than just watching powerpoint slides!
