Wow I had hoped that people would learn that mod for mod a larger displacement engine will win in a drag race....7 times out of 10 a forced induction car will beat a naturally aspirated one. Notice how the cobra spanked the Evo and that was with a supercharger, if it were a turbo it would be able to push more peak boost and ultimatly go faster.

Well its a shame you cant buy a M. Cobra Turbo Charged from the dealer... Its also a shame that Cobra is "SUPPOSED" to be good at a 1/4, since thats what everyone THINKS! So if it can be beaten by a Stock EVO, in the 1/4, Then seriously, THIS IS A FACT! A Mustang Cobra is good for nothing. Because, if you were to show a Cobra some turns, make sure you're wearing a helmet becasue you might flip it over!lol!

According to Road & Track, new KTR500 does quarter in mid 12's; my Evo hits high 11's.
New Z06 will beat me, not any new Mustangs. Beat another one Friday night; was fun...

Evo does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds dude, a gt mustang does that on mid 5's; evo does 13's 1/4 while 'stang on high 13's... all of this, plain stock. Should I add evo's got half cylinders and "only" 2.0 liters vs 'stang V8 4.6?? man... welcome to the new era Also.. on a normal street EVO will eat a 'stang, it handles a lot better, corners better.. who buys a car that can only go in a straight line anyways? what, you americans have no corners?

exactly. most muscle car ppl talk a lot of trash of how fast their cars are, and some of them do have some cars that are fast as shit... but... in a track race they would completely get owned. american muscle stands no chance in a track race.
