The movie is based on the novel by Wladyslaw Szpilman, who actually did experience all of these events. So I'm sorry, but all of these experiences have VERY true historic value.

This has to be the most IGNORANT comment i have read on youtube. IT is just not the isralities that have caused that middle eastern conflict! There is always to sides to a story. THE fucking conflict started when the UN needed to find land for the displaced jews after WW2 and they owned the land of Israel/Palestine at that time.
