Jacknickhole... Either you're not Scottish or you're illiterate. It's Scotland and Scots. The UK was a result of the Scots and English forming a Union. I'm proud that I'm Glaswegian, Scottish and BRITISH. Here's tae us.

First, can you at least spell Scotland correctly. My point was that the Scots formed a Union with the English because they wanted it. There was no invasion, etc. The Scots put the first king on a united Scottish/English throne. I have ancestors from every part of the British Isles..Mostly Scots then Irish, with a fair bit of English & Welsh, I have no problem with the fact that we are one nation. Check out WW1 & WW2..Ulster division and the West Yorkshires at the Somme.
