Buddy that's what makes LP unit. If you listen to their drums and guitars, the instrumental is hardly ANYTHING special. It's all power chords and basic beats. Joe Hahn adds in that special touch; that extra ingredient that makes LP. And as oaktree1991 said, he also has directed/co-directed like half of LP's videos. Without him, sure LP can "work without it" but they won't be the same, nor as good.
