"the experts" also tell u that jordan is waaaay superior to anyone that ever played. do u believe that? obviously not with all these videos. never said russell was not a all time great. but people exaggerate many aspects of his game. the same with jordan.

I would like to put 1- Wilt Chamberlain and 2nd Jordan, then Magic and Bird, the rest are incredible but they are inferior to this four. Dr J Bill Russell Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Oscar Robertson. There are many more.

Have you seen my new video Jabbar better than Olajuwon? Okay, Barkley was great and i like more him than Malone, but i think Duncan is still better (and more hated for me).

jordan was actually 6 4. i still think jordan was the best player ever id put wilt right beside him i think wilt would dominate this era just like jordan did wilt is definetely the greatest center of all time nobody should even bat an eye on that one.

oh man. Not Sabonis at 7'3!! and even more terrifying: Rik SMITS at 7'4!!. Good thing those guys were in the 90s, they probably would have murdered Wilt and Kareem. They also had greater "range" wow, unbelievable; Hall of Fame, right there.

Wilt that was a poor FT shooter? How can you be called the greatest when you can't even be trusted to have the ball in your hands in crunch time? Can u imagine the Bulls being uncomfortable with the ball in MJ's hand in the final secs? The famed Havlicek steal would've never happened to Kareem/Hakeem because they were good ft shooters and had no flaws in their game. But it happened because it was known the Celts would foul Wilt, so the team had to look elsewhere at the end of the game....
......and plus Wilt ... ( 4 weeks ago by FuShengAlex)
......and plus Wilt was known to have lousy practice habits. He even skipped practices and team meetings and didn't bother to say he would be absent beforehand. He even had the team change their practices to the afternoon to make it easier for him. I don't like that he coasted off of his natural talents/god given ability. As talented as they were Bird Magic MJ never took days off and always exuded leadership abilities. I don't feel the same about Wilt.

Anyway i like and respect your attempt to refute my theories. I'm just going to say you one thing: Jordan grow up at the best, Wilt Chamberlain was born as the best.

Jabbar was a ... ( 3 weeks ago by redfanrod)
Jabbar was a passive defender. Looking at you clip shows that Wilt was willing to fight to get to the ball and just pushed Jabbar aside. Wilt was able to finger roll his shots over his defenders. That might be tougher to do now. Of course, this was footage from around 1972 and Wilt had a serious knee injury in 1969. He was even more athletic in the 60s.

Did you watch the last play? He dunks the ball in Jabbar's face.

Thanks I didn't see it before.
Jabbar was the 1st person Wilt faced that could challenge him at BOTH ends of the floor. I wish they were both 25 and Wilt hadn't had the knee injury before.

Ok, they are better than Wilt, so Wilt owns all the records, it may to be by sheer chance.
Wilt's one weakness ... ( 2 weeks ago by Ceebulsk450)
Wilt's one weakness was FT shooting. I'd accept Jordan as being better, although it's very close, but Wilt>Olajuwon and I LOVE Olajuwon. Wilt is the greatest scoring force in the history of basketball, and is a top-3 defender at his position, behind Russell and maybe Olajuwon(that one is close, Olajuwon was a tremendous defender). While Olajuwon's offensive game was prettier, Wilt had all the moves, power game, the finger roll, the fadeaway, everything.
Just because one ... ( 2 weeks ago by AceroySangre)
Just because one player may have flaws doesn`t mean he is not better than the other who may have less flaws. Wilt had flaws but was way more dominating than any other player in his Time, in: Minutes Per Game, Scoring Per Game, High FG%, Rebounds Per Game and Interior Defense. Not to mention he was a Good Passer too. That means his Pros are way to high compared to any other play in his Time. He was the Shaq of the 50s and 60s with a Better Defense and Passing Abilities.

Your key words were: "IN HIS TIME".
C'mon man, I see enough of Wilt to admit he's a legend. But look at 92-96 NBA seasons. 5 different centers averaging 20+ppg. and 10+rpg and were TWO WAY THREATS. Hakeem made 3RD TEAM ALL-NBA in 94-95 season averaging 27ppg at 11rpg! Those are badass numbers, but due to the immense calibre of
competition at that position in that era the centers cancelled each others' statistical dominance. Wilt didn't have this, because until Jabbar arrived..
...there wasn't ... ( 1 week ago by FuShengAlex)
...there wasn't anyone in the 60s that were legitimate TWO WAY threats at both ends of the floor.
Of course Wilt would be dominant in the 80s/90s, but I think there would be years where he wouldn't be considered the best center in the NBA. And that's not a knock against Wilt to suggest he would perform poorly, it's just a compliment to the calibre of competition from 92-96 at the center spot.
