| No you can cant compair a SEAL, a Marine, and a Ranger because they're all specialized for diffrent things. Rangers are a rapidly deployable light infantry unit, Marines are an extension of the Navy ment to give the military a means to deploy forces from the sea, and the units that eventually evolved into the SEALs were orginally scouts for the Marine's landing zones, but have expanded into general Maritime, and general unconventintional warfare operations. |

| Thats not completely tru about the SEALs, they were formed from the old uderwater demolition teams (UDT) in world war 2. they cleared beaches for amphibous assaults for marines. And besides you really can't compare a Navy SEAL to anything else, just like you said. They are THE BEST in the world. |

| No they were not, god no you are wrong SEALS are from UDT Underwater Demolition Team what they did was take out mines, barricades on the beaches etc. Then JFK said some stuff then SEALS were from UDT units then yeah thats how SEALS were born |

| also considering SEALS are a special forces, you wouldn't compare them directly to another branch likes marines. That's like saying a tv show is better than the television, doesn't make sense. You would be better to compare the seals to say, the green beret, or delta force, or the pararescue. |

| that's so f*ckin ninja man...I went to MEPS for Green Beret but they disqualified me b/c I couldn't pass the stupid colorblindness test (even though I'm not!); aced everything else. I heard with SEALS, you can get a waiver from a Doc if you can prove you really can see color. I hope that's true... |
