Manchester City's new very wealthy Abu Dhabi owners may have Alexandre Pato on their shopping list. They could bid well over 100 million euros for him in January, or next summer.
Chelsea could also have major interest in Pato. Roman Abramovich has 100 million+ euros he can offer AC Milan for Pato, as well. I won't be surprised if Man City and Chelsea have a huge bidding war for Pato by next summer.

It might not be a joke. Manchester City is now major loaded financially. They have Arab owners who won't take no for an answer. If they want Pato bad enough, they will keep bidding and keep bidding for him until AC Milan finally sells him.
Liverpool may soon be taken over by another rich group of Arab owners, Dubai International Capital. They could also want Pato and won't take no for an answer easily either. It's a joke to say Pato will be playing for a team like Derby County, though!
