This video was shot at the no border camp near ushgorod in the ukraine. I visited the camp with Georg Hobmeier and Sonja Prlic from the austrain artist group gold extra for the purpose researching for the computer
game "frontiers", a current project of the group, that deals with migration issues in terms of crossing the borders of the european union as a refugee.In the camp the two offered a workshop, introducing the basics of creating a computer game, as well as dealing with the topic of migration within this medium.In this video Georg speaks about "creating a mod", which means the modification of an existing game like i.e. "Half Life 2", gameplay issues, and a few examples of games that deal with migration.
