Yup, that's me. Built my first crystal set at 7, got my ham radio license at 16, and became an electrical engineer. If it's technical in mature, I love it!

Great video,this is how most hams start,me,I was curious @ 4 yra old as to why there were light bubs inside the tv,was told that these were vacuum tubes and were used as amplify signals so you could see the image on the screen and the pic came in from an antenna on the roof,WOW,Iwas hooked hi!73 de VO1XH

That was funny! Oh how true. While other kids were on the block playing basketball or other inane games, I was in my house building crystal diode radios or hammering out a chassis from a metal cracker box for my one tube 6J5 regen radio complete with toilet paper roll tickler coil.
