hate to burst peoples bubble but this film is just so inaccurate and is hollywood garbage. morgan freemans character wouldnt be hanging around with a bunch of white guys. anyone that knows anything about american prisons will tell ya that race is the first and most important thing. different races dont mix. its an unwritten rule. even in them days

Dude it wasn't nearly as big a thing in those days. The prison gangs we have now werent around back then. Before the drug crusades keep in mind that prisons werent nearly as full either. Maybe at most the would have just shunned each other, but there wouldn't have been people sticking scrap metal in each others necks over race. In any case we know the story isn't true, it was a good movie, chill out and watch.

Here's some possible closure. If you have tacks on the top corners, lift the poster from the bottom and sneak on through and let gravity put it into place. This rationale has helped me sleep soundly at night.

Yes, but that means the bottom would be loose. The Warden threw a piece of debris through it, then shoved his hand through and the poster didn't move. It just tore as if it was secured at all four corners!
