| Just after this, circa 69-70 I walked past a shoe store. I had no job at the time, and little money. I see these boots that I liked, and went in to check them out. The owner, who was with his girlfriend says to me, "you like the boots?" I say "sure," "Try them on, he continues," I tell him I'm not working, and have no money. He GIVES me the boots, and says, "would you like a bag?" His girlfriend hugs and kisses him, "you're so crazy..." I will NEVER forget that. Still have the boots. Peace... |
