It took mosley 11 rounds to knock Manuel la Rana Gomez(was previously defeated by ko in earlier rounds) and you think he could have knocked chavez who went toe to toe with people like el chapo rosario one of the hardest hitters pound for pound in the light weight division (chavez face looked completely intact after the fight) I think he could have been beaten but it would be very hard even for the likes of duran and mosley at 140.

Styles make fights it's the pure and simplest formula in predicting fighters. Mosley eats up guys like ChaveZ, he has trouble with long and taller fighters.

I like mosley he is my type of fighter, but he will get killed by Chavez. Chavez has proven that he can fight any style and still win. Chavez was the toughest of then all. He could take many punches and continue fighting like nothing. It was not until his last fight that hard punches would affect him. Chavez was the best.

Pedro, don't hate bro. Mosely was good until he was at 140 his only big wins at 147 was DLH and 1 was bullshit. At 140lbs. who was better then Chavez? Mosely might eat guys like chavez up but not the mero mero. Chavez was special. Beat all champions and contenders. found ways to beat every and all styles. Mosley never had a fight at 140, he went straight up from 135 to 147. His first fight at 147 was a KO of Wilfredo Rivera, a man Dela Hoya could not KO and a guy who gave Pernell Whitaker fits. I feel very confident in my statement that Mosley had the style, speed, power reach, and foot speed at 135 LBS to outbox Chavez! Remember I said at 135!

You do know that is was a sparring fight? The purpose for Mosely there was to adjust to speed plain and simple. By the way it looks like 18's so Chavez's body punches did not have full effect.

Won what? Sparring isn't a real fight idiot. It's painfully obvious Chavez has his foot of the pedal because afterall it is "sparring". If anything Mosley was taking this more serious because afterall he was nobody in there with the best fighter in the world at the time. Any young fighter would try and see what he could do against a legend.

How do you know he would've beaten Dlh? You sure couldn't make that claim off of the 2 dominating losses he suffered against Oscar. Mosley may have beat the hell out of Chavez in all reality. As I stated earlier, I have never seen a fighter move as fast as Mosley is in this clip.

No but i can make the claim that chavez fought faster, stronger guys then DHL in his prime and still came out victorious. DHL was a good fighter, but he has problems fighting fast fighters. Chavez some how found ways to beat faster fighters then him. I m not Mexican but damm that chavez era un hijo de puta. Great fighter, but as he got old he started moving slower making him an easier target. VIVA CHAVEZ.
