| As a non-goth, I do not understand some aspects of a Gothic lifestyle. One of my daughters has recently adopted a Gothic image, yet her personality doesn't reflect what her image seems to make believe. I wish to be supportive, but I would first like to understand: 1. Are Gothics, in general, fascinated about death and the morbid? If so, why? 2. Do Gothics, in general, dislike conformity? Is it a form of rebellion? 3. And, is it simply a fashion statement? Thank you for your help :) |
