A FINE performance from the January 29, 1965 episode of "The Jack Benny Program." The Appearance is almost a "throwback" as the trio performs Tijuana Jail -- which at that time had been around 6 years.

This performance was recorded here and live in Las Vegas and is available on vinyl disk only (I have a copy). It is not available on any tape or CD. A really rare and treasured find.

Not true! You can easily find the album "Nick-Bob-John" on CD (track 12). See Amazon. The live performance you are referring to, recorded at the Sahara Tahoe (not LV), was Once Upon A Time, also available on CD. Lots of people tried to match the KT sound, but no one ever topped them.

For the record: Dave Guard (the guy on the left) died in 1991. Nick Reynolds' obituary appeared in the newspapers on October 3, 2008. As of this writing--October 4, 2008--Bob Shane is still alive.

Actually, The guy on the left was Nick Reynolds, who passed away on 10/3/2008. On the right was John Stewart who passed away 1/19/2008. Dave Guard died in 1991.
Bob Shane's still around but retired from performing.

the general idea I have got is D-Bm-G-A7sus-A7.......but i am dumb when it comes to this stuff. Usually if I post something wrong someone that really knows will correct it and yell at me. Any takers? it seems like a F#m belongs somewhere...or an Em......but i cant make it sound right HELP?
