umm well, toby wasn't charlie... but yes, johnny depp was willy, helena was charlie's mom, and the director, once again, was tim burton.

i would like 2 see that movie cos i usually like johnny depp playing in those costumes. in casual style hes usually not so convincing,so i suppose hes only made 4 movies like this(e.g. pirates of carribean,edward...) unfortunately the movie is available 10x in ma video hire store in germany,but always out so i still have 2 wait a bit ;(

I've watched the movie and I have to say it's one of the best movies i've ever seen. And i've seen a lot :-). If you're wondering wether to see this movie or not... You should rush to the closest cinema :-) Great music, great scenario, and actors... are also... great (doh) :-) I just love the way the characters behave, it's best to know nothing about the scenario before you watch it. 5/5 (movie, not trailer :-) )

this is one of the best movies ever made. i rented it on itunes and i warched it 3 times!!!! (it waz a loong ride home in a car). depp was amazing and the twist at the nd is ah-mazing!!!!! if u want to no it- send me a request!
p.s- its not bloody at all (i waz concerned about tht part but the blood looks like veryy watery fruit punch so no worries there.) plus we he cuts there throats it flys out and real blood doesnt do tht- right? ***** five stars!!!

I don't know why they chose Christian Bale. But he does do a very good Job. In my opinion he's the second best Batman. The best batman is Michael Keaton(Keaton however is a terrible Bruce Wayne). But Christian Bale is the Best Batman/Bruce Wayne combination. did you like the Dark Knight and do you like Sweeney todd

Hmm... I think that Christian Bale was the best Batman in the variation he played in. Like, the serious dark kind.
Like, I think the Joker in the dark knight was best in the variation he played.
But, Jack Nicholson did the best job in the version HE played. xD
It's all a matter of what version it is. xD

Except for the Joel Schumacher versions which Sucked. The only good thing in Batman forever was Jim Carrey. In Batman and Robin it just plane old sucked. I Hate Robin he's a dick(that's actually his name). But besides that all the other movies were great.

I wasn't the blood and stuff what made this movie so scary. Actually I think it was the fact that this is a true-happened story...that made it so scary for me.
