That's not true. You'll see him subconsciously using sign language in all of his peices. It's like a second nature to him.

I love this poem, it's funny yet still it is so inspiring, but can anyone tell me what he is saying at the end. I've watched it like a thousand times and I just can't get it.

To 2DVin3; He's not saying that he was deaf. It can be taken one of two ways. Either literally or figuratively. The literal form, he's speaking for the hearing impaired saying that even though they are deaf they should be thankful they have a means of communication, & with that means they can express their feelings & opinions at their "Deaf Poetry Jams". Figuratively he meant that we as men/women take for granted how beautiful & powerful "voice" can be. Voice is one of our most powerful weapons

Wow, I never really thought about if i was born deaf. Music is my life and I couldn't imagine a world without it. Hearing and speaking was always something I would take for granted, i would thank god for my sight and my health but never my hearing. Thank God not only for my hearing but also for allowing me to hear this poem.
